Tom Tesser, 66, husband, father, grandfather, papa of St. Paul, died April 26, 2012 from complications of prostate cancer, which he had been battling for eight years.
Tom graduated from Duluth Denfeld High School, UMD and St. Thomas.  He taught in St. Paul schools for 37 years, 25 at Randolph Heights.  Tom was an avid golfer.  He was an athlete in high school and college.  He coached many youth sports teams.  He proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Forrestal.
Preceded in death by parents Lila and Charles and brothers, Bill, Roy and Jerry.
Survived by Cory, his loving wife of 40 years; children Terri (Brian) Morse, Tim (Shelly) Tesser and Shannon Tesser; wonderful grandchildren, Audrey, Savannah, Colton and Brook; brothers Bob and Ralph; extended family and best friend Leggs.
