Just wanted to remind anyone stopping on our Guestbook page that the Denfeld Class of 1963's 50th Reunion  will be the weekend after Labor Day:  Sept. 7 and 8!  The Reunion Committee is looking forward to a great turnout for this event, so Classmates, mark it on your calendars!
JoAnn L. Taylor (Jo Reedy) - 12-18-2012
I can't believe it has been almost 50 years....Nor can all of you, I'm sure.  Looking at the photo's there is only a few I would still recognize. I'm sure if you saw me you would probably say the same...  I live in The Villages, Florida now and spend a lot of my retirement years on the golf course. (Who knew..)  I'm not going to be able to come to the reunion but I hope you all have a great time.  I keep in touch with 'Duluth' through a good friend, Cary McManus who went to Hermantown.  He and his lovely wife just spent a few days with us and brought me up to date on all that has happened 'back home'.  Lots of changes up there.

Here's wishing you all the very best.....Jo

I have been on the reunion planning committee for a few years now and have really enjoyed connecting with everyone.  Marcia does such a great job opening up her home for the meetings and the past reunions.  This coming year will be our 50th CLASS REUNION and Marcia is still opening up her home for the Sunday Brunch.  I do hope that everyone that visits this site will really make an effort to attend the reunion.  Also, be sure to take in the Christmas lights at Marcia's...she does an amazing job!  I will be there Friday, December 21st handing out cookies & cider...please stop by...I would love to see you!

Just found this site and it is great.  it is a lot of fun re-living old memories that I had forgotten, along with many, many other things.  Thanks to all that made this site possible and to those that post and review it.  Like to reconnect with old friends and stay in touch.

In town for the Holidays and stopped by Marcia to show Family Marcia’s beautiful light display, great job. She mentioned that Alan cries (;)) that nobody posts anything on our web site. I’m guilty of reading and not saying a word, so decides to mention whoever is doing it, greet job of keeping this site going.  I messed up last summer in not stopping in for July gathering, hoping weekend will work going forward.

Thanks for the information you provided! It's really useful site and I'm glad that came across it. I often use  music search engine   to listen quality music and suggest you  and this information will help me a lot during my employment

Hi everyone
I was looking at who passed away and was surprised to see so many are gone.
They seem to be much to young to die.
I'm good. I live in Corcoran Mn. out in the country.
Sure would like to make it to a reunion one of these days.
Blessings to all
Kathy

Why is it that the class of '63 is mostly unlisted?  I would love to know what has happened to more of our younger 'brothers and sisters'.
Kay Hansen Anderson - 02-23-2009
I just FINALLY got around to looking at the pictures from the summer party at Marcia's.  It looks like a beautiful setting, wonderfully planned party, and a good time for all.  I have August 1, 2009 on my calendar - hope I can make it....

Susan Dahl Running - 08-04-2008
I have to say that I had the best time at this reunion.   It was  fun to help with the whole thing at Marcia's.   She has to have the most gorgeous beach in all of Duluth!   And the city of Duluth and its weather truly cooperated.    But the best part was seeing people who have not been to our Reunions for a while ... you know who you are.  Thank you for coming!
Kathleen Ryan Sicotte - 12-29-2007
Due to other committment - missed 40th reunion.  Looking forward to the 50th.

HI! Just wanted to say you have a great site. I especially enjoyed all the photos posted with the landmarks.
We have our site listed with the same websponsor.

Okay, I just visited this web site. I do this every week or two - and I am wondering if anyone else in our class does this. The last entry in this guestbook' was in February of 2005 and, now that we are past the mid-July point of 2006, that was almost a year and a half ago. (For what it is worth, a lot of the songs on the CD's, being promoted by the last entry, bring back some very good memories.) I'm sure that a lot of us are interested in what is going on in the day-to-day life of, well,    - -  Denfeld's Class of '63.

Sandi, (wife), and I recently went on a short trip with our oldest grandson and we have tons of pictures from, what amounted to, a very memorable time for all of us. I mean, grandson and I walked through a field of buffalo poop to get some good pictures - - of buffalo poop, no  of buffalo, yes - - this is smelling the roses , this is life as we live it. Where I am going with this is; we all do this sort of thing and I want to believe that many of us  have done something of interest to others - - and I want to encourage you to share your special events by posting photos and/or by posting your stories in the discussion groups  area.

Many of us  are retired, (I'm not one of these.) What do you do during your free   time? What do you remember as the good times?

Many of us  have hobbies, (I brew beer  still trying for a good red  might never achieve mecca   here.) I know of someone who does heirloom quality needlepoint. What do you do? There might be more of us  doing the same thing and we can share accomplishments/failures.

Maybe you have done something that everyone, (or no one), wishes they would have done  let's hear about it. I, for one, am interested and I'm definitely not alone here.

Looking forward to hearing all about it,

Bob

We have a very fun cd out called 60's Smash HIts! The CD features 16 songs released on 45's by local groups in the 60's like the Titans, Chet Orr and the Rumbles, The Soul Seekers, The Five Tymes and others. More info at www.duluthrocked.com

Linda Albrecht - 04-26-2004
I was born in Duluth in 1959 (my last name was Erickson) & lived there until I was 10 yo.  We just got back from visiting Duluth.  My sister is trying to locate Larry Parker.  Does anyone know where he is?  He would be approx. 48 yo, and attended Ensign Elementary School.  I am trying to locate Sandy Northey - her father was a teacher & hockey coach at Denfield - Richard Northey.

Thanks,

Linda Albrecht (f/k/a Erickson)
